His hand was still making those tantalizing little circles on her flesh but she was more interested in what he had just said to her. “What do you mean?”
“I mean that I think you are tough as hell because you had to be, because things happened and made you that way. You aren’t mean, but because not everyone knows what it means to be tough, they think you are mean.”
Her stomach quivered. Was she so easy to read? She hoped not. She knew she was not, so how was he so accurate?
“Jackson used to say you could spot someone like us if you know how and for a long time I thought that was just another of his weird sayings, but he was right. I know you. I knew you before I met you.”
No one spoke for a while.
“He sounds like a good man,” Bella whispered.
“He was,” Sander said, “And he didn’t deserve to die like that.”
“No,” she said, “he didn’t. Kyle has always been a coward. A sneaky little coward.”

This is the first time reading a novel by this author but not the last and I'm looking to read more from her/him. I don't feel like we got to witness enough of the relationship buildup to make me invested in the couple. I found this book to be fast paced and really enjoyed the scenes between the two of them as they got more and more involved with each other after just being kidnapped and the BAM sex..The story line was OK but left the reader confused at times.There were some small parts that were skimmed over that I wish we would have gotten a stronger conclusion to(nothing major) or explanation because it took away from the story.Product details

There was a boy (Sander) and there was a girl (Bella). Their love spans 3 suspenseful books. The turmoil that is written I haven't seen in a mc book ever. Remember to read in order and enjoy.
Hooked from the first scene. Too short, I felt like things weren't really resolved, not truly a cliffhanger but not a true HEA or resolution either. I felt left wanting,
This story was okay but I really didn't like the plot... I found it to be unrealistic. I couldn't find the desire to be interested or invested in the characters. I have read other MC stories and some were very good. Not this one. Couldn't finish it.
I could not get into this story. I have a hard time with the way the story was told.
Needs better editing a lot of missed spelled words... crazy how fast they opened up to each other and fell in love. Too unbelievable that rival gang members could fight in one paragraph and fall in bed together the next. As for her being hard biker chick it sure was easy for her to cry.
Written well. Most motorcycle books are in first person. I liked this and the conflicts. Rivals and love don't go well together but this was written well and full of believable drama.
I really like the characters in this book. This was a first time read for me with this author and I'm definitely going to be reading more. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
