Amazing adventures by a brother/sister team among scientists exploring another dimension of space/time. Incredible discoveries, harrowing escapes from deadly otherworldly animals, altered gravity, and, most dangerous of all, helplessness in the grip of raging emotional turmoil, provide only a small part of the tension of this fantastic novel. A great series, especially books 1 and 3. Sorry it had to end—perhaps other episodes about the siblings are on the horizon.Product details

What a fun book. Great story telling, great characters and plot twists. Enjoyable at any age. I especially love how the books are designed to grow with younger readers.

Richards continues to provide a fabulously entertaining read with fun twists and turns in a roller coaster action book ideal for young readers and adults. What a pleasure to have heroic teens in action along with loving parents. This third installment delivers the same fun and tight knit story line that always makes reading his books a delightful experience.
Enjoyed this series. Good story line, but sometimes long winded. Overall, a good buy which I would recommend it you like way out science ideas.
I am a senior citizen, and while I believe this book will be best enjoyed by kids, I loved the story and look forward to more about Prometheus
Gift for my granddaughter and she loved the series. She's an avid reader and finished them quickly.
My comment is in regard to Book 1 in this series The Prometheus Project Trapped. I enjoyed reading the Prometheus Project, but its heroes are teens, and it is definitely a young readers' novel. I was quite disappointed when I realized that. As a teen, which I was once, I'd have loved it. Still, I saw a great deal of promise at the beginning, but the story really wasn't developed in a way to please adult sci-fi readers. It was a good enough story, though, that I'm thinking more seriously about purchasing s for my grandchildren at Christmas.
I had read Richards' latest bestselling techno-thrillers, Wired, Amped, The Cure and Mind's Eye, enthusiastically giving them all 5-Stars. I decided to just have a glance at his early Prometheus series, Books 1-3, Trapped, Captured, and Stranded, acclaimed for both adults and children, although I'm decades away from the children's category. To my great surprise, experiencing the events in the Prometheus series through the eyes of the featured kids (Ryan and Regan) was actually a lot of fun, not a distraction.
There is more science fiction per se in these three books than the modest "extensions" of known laws of nature in his latest books. The sci-fi content of this last book of the series includes such things as spacetime tunnels and, especially, the effect of a mysterious "Enigma Cube" on gravity. But Richards also includes numerous instances of scientific realities, both well known and radical. As an example of the latter, Richards very cleverly applies perfectly legitimate dimensional analogy geometries to spacial oddities of Prometheus. This seamless blend of imaginable sci-fi, far-out but real possibilities, and commonly known scientific facts somehow makes everything seem plausible, that is, easily digestible even for a physicist. Bravo!
